Speakers will be professionals of high international caliber and status in the field, hailing from various Greek and international companies. Presentations and workshops will cover a wide range of the Human Resources Department’s activities, and will give answers to “burning” questions that concern HR executives on a day-to-day basis.
KPMG welcomes Rob Goffee – Professor of Organizational Behavior at London Business School, as keynote speaker at the 13th PM Symposium.

Rob Goffee is a Faculty Director for Executive Education and Professor of Organizational Behavior at London Business School, and one of Europe's leading figures in organizational culture, leadership and change. He is best known for his McKinsey Award-winning article in the Harvard Business Review co-authored with Gareth Jones, entitled "Why Should Anyone Be Led by Υou?" This was also the title of his 2006 book on leadership, published by Harvard Business School Press. |
His research interests span through topics such as person - job interaction (innovation and creativity), human resource management (career / employee development), management and leadership, organizational culture and entrepreneurship in family business, whereas his research publications have covered entrepreneurship, business formation and growth and managerial careers.
He has published seven books, among which: Entrepreneurship in Europe, Women in Charge, Reluctant Managers, Corporate Realities, and The Character of a Corporation, which he co-authored with Gareth Jones.
More recently, again with Jones, he has turned his attention to the idea of authentic leadership. "Delayering, downsizing and reengineering have exacted a steep price in human capital," says Goffee. "Today's restructuring has produced not empowerment, but a sense of cynicism, betrayal and mistrust - and a climate unlikely to foster the commitment and personal risk-taking required for effective leadership."
Rob Goffee consults to the boards of a number of FTSE 100 companies and is one of the founding partners of Creative Management Associates (CMA), a consultancy focused on organizations where creativity is a source of competitive strength.
